Hello all, and welcome to Playhouse 22’s exciting third season at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center and our 53rd year of operation! We have a fantastic new season for you, filled with some old gems as you’ll see, including my personal favorite musical, “Sweeney Todd”, along with a magic show for children and a holiday concert featuring a collection of well-known Christmas music. Also, we’ll be continuing our successful “On The Edge” series, which offers smaller works in an intimate setting presented right on our stage – you have to check it out if you have not yet attended one of these! All in all, we are offering great entertainment with great casts at a great price – how can you go wrong!
This year we’d also like to dedicate our season to Joe Vasta, a long-time community theatre talent and one of the original founders of Playhouse 22 over 50 years ago. He brought many talents to our group and to the community theatre family as well, and we celebrate his life and contributions during this season.
