February 7 - March 1, 2003
From writer Paul Rudnick (I HATE HAMLET, IN & OUT) comes the major stories of the Old Testament like you’ve never heard them before! Instead of Adam and Eve, our lead characters are Adam & Steve, and Jane & Mabel, a lesbian couple with whom they decide to start civilization. Act One covers the Garden of Eden, an ark, a visit with a highly rambunctious Pharaoh and finally even the Nativity. Act Two puts the same characters in a modern day setting, adds a wheelchair-bound, Jewish lesbian Rabbi from cable access TV, one-liners, epigrams, withering put-downs and flashing repartee & the comedy continues!
Directed by MARK KALET*****no one under 17 admitted without parent or legal guardian!*****
