Khy Garner (Director/ Musical Director) hails from Woodbridge where teaches private vocal instruction. Khy recently debuted Khy’s Cabarets to sold out audiences in November of 2021. Deeply rooted in the New Jersey community theater scene for over 40 years some notable directorial credits include Jesus Christ Superstar at Villagers Theater (Perry Award Winner for Outstanding Musical Direction) Filling in the Blank (Perry Award Winner for Outstanding Production of an original play) and Spring Awakening Hamilton Stage in Rahway. He is a co-found of the Linden based theater company Mystic Vision Players. Khy has also recently completed a series of plays to be launched and published this year.
Nick Buonvicino is excited to be part of the Blue Moon Cabaret. Nick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Media Studies from Kean University. Most recently he appeared as Captain Walker in The Who’s Tommy (Main Street Theatre Company). Other roles he has played included Georg in Spring Awakening (Khyland Productions), Jim Farrell in Titanic the Musical (Playful Productions - Kelsey Theatre) and Henry in Next To Normal (Circle Players).
Cindy Chait is delighted to be part of the Blue Moon Cabaret and to be back at Playhouse 22 after most recently portraying Melpomene in their production of Xanadu. Regional theatre credits include Into the Woods (The Witch) and Assassins (Emma Goldman) at The Eagle Theatre and Sister Act (u/s Sister Mary Theresa) at The Walnut Street Theatre in Philly. Other credits Cindy considers favorites are Man of La Mancha (Aldonza), Kiss me Kate (Kate), Mamma Mia (Tanya), Spamalot, (Lady of the Lake), The Addams Family (Morticia) and Falsettos (Trina).
Kyle Javon is just back from performing in Tennessee, and is excited to be a part of Khy’s Cabaret: Blue Moon. Kyle Javon has had a very busy year! He performed in Cry-Baby, The Color Purple, and White Christmas at the Roxy Regional Theatre in Tennessee. New Jersey roles included starring as Duke in ShBoom! Life Could Be a Dream at the Greater Ocean City Theatre, Wolf in Into the Woods at the Algonquin Theater, and Donkey in Shrek at the Middletown Arts Center. Kyle Javon was honored to be nominated for the 2022 BroadwayWorld New Jersey Awards for his role as Donkey in Shrek!
Pam Jorgensen is incredibly grateful to be a part of this wonderful cabaret series with Khy and company! Pam and Khy met when he cast her as the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd (Perry Award!) at Villagers and they have been the dearest of friends ever since! Pam has kept busy on various regional stages over the years, most recently having starred in both Mamma Mia and Baby the Musical at the Media Theatre of PA. Other career highlights include Savannah Sipping Society (Marlafaye), Funny Girl (Fanny Brice), Hello Dolly (Dolly), Gypsy (Mama Rose), A Christmas Story (Miss Shields) and she toured nationally with Waistwatchers The Musical, in which she originated the role of Cindy. Lorraine C. Perri is grateful to be kicking off 2023 doing what she loves most: making melodious mouth sounds in front of people. Many thanks to Khy for this wonderful opportunity! As a self- described Professional Third-Wheel, Lorraine recently appeared as officiant, singer, and/or bridesmaid in 7 weddings within this past year. As for the stage, she was last seen in Villagers Theatre’s production of, The Wild Party (Queenie). Other favorite credits/roles include: Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), American Idiot (Extraordinary Girl), In the Heights (Daniela), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Dr. Frank-N-Furter), and Reefer Madness (Mae).
Mark Piltz is a New Jersey-based singer/actor/musician who is currently pursuing his Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy at Rowan University. Alissa Valiante is a music educator, singer, director and advocate currently residing in Linden. She has performed at community theatres around New Jersey. Alissa is also an accomplished church Cantor and can be found most weekends encouraging the congregation of St. John the Apostle in Clark to join in worship singing. She sits on the Board of Trustees of Mystic Vision Players in Linden and currently serves as the Vice President/Perry Awards Producer for NJACT. Alissa holds a B.A. in Music Education/Voice Concentration from Kean University, a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College and an MS in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton. She teaches general, choral and instrumental Music at Hurden Looker Elementary School in Hillside.
