KHY GARNER hails from Woodbridge where he provided private vocal instruction. He has been a fixture in community theater for over forty years as an actor, singer, dancer, director, musical director, producer and instrumentalist. He is a multiple Perry Award winner and has been inducted into the NJACT Hall of Fame. Having spent the last several years on the production teams of several theater productions, Khy is honored to lend his voice to the list of tonight’s phenomenal artists.

JUSTIN DANIEL GIACHETTI is a professional actor, Dramatist Guild Playwright and Lyricist, Artistic Director, and arts educator. Some of his previous creative/performance credits have been The Nurse in “Romeo and Juliet”, Wayne Hopkins in “Puffs”, Quasimodo in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, Harry in “Company”, the book writer and lyricist of “Relapse The Musical” (highest earner at NJ Fringe 2019), Playwright of critically acclaimed “Faith in Shackles” (Best of the Fest in NY Summerfest), and director of "Dog Sees God" (2021), “Laramie Project” (2019), “How I Learned to Drive” (2019), and “Rabbit Hole” (2018). TRACEY LYNNE HASKELL is excited to return to Playhouse 22 to work with a beloved "framily"
member, Khy!  Most recently, Tracey has collaborated with Khy as Armelia in “Ain't Misbehavin” and the Strawberry Woman in “Porgy and Bess”. Some favorite roles from over 20+ years of work in New Jersey community theater include Anita in “West Side Story”, Sonya in “The Life”, Rosamund in “The Robber Bride Groom”, The Witch in “Into The Woods”, Luisa in “Nine”, Sarah's Friend in “Ragtime”,  and many, many, MANY more. When she is not on stage, you can find Tracey in the forest, on a lake or at the pickleball courts. Welcome Back, Theater!

TARA HINES is elated to be singing tonight with some new and familiar faces. She is honored to have been included in the lineup. She has performed in “Little Shop of Horrors”, “A Funny Thing…Forum”, and was a contestant in UCPAC’s ICON competition. Tonight’s performance is dedicated to her partner and best friend, Billy Mills and her late friend, Kendelle Barker.

BRIAN JOHNSTON is excited to be back at Playhouse 22 for another live show! Recent pandemic-performances include a Valentines Day Cabaret at the Playhouse and singing as a finalist in the Icon 2020 Vocal Competition. Some notable prior roles have included John Jasper/Clive Paget in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”, Henry in “Next to Normal”, and Tunny in “American Idiot: The Musical”. Brian would like to thank Khy for this opportunity and to thank all of you in the audience for helping live theater return to our stages with your patronage.

TEDDY KERNIZAN (Music Director) received a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in 2005 in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, and his Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Catholic University in 2012. For the Ocean Township High School’s Spartan Players he has Music Directed and played Key I in “The Addams Family”, “Pippin”, “Anything Goes”, “Bye Bye Birdie!”, and “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. Teddy has also Music Directed and played Key I in “Spamalot” for Somerset Valley  Players; “Ragtime” for Mystic Vision Players; “Mamma Mia!” for Cranford Dramatic Club Theatre; “...Spelling Bee”, “The Wiz”, “In the Heights”, “It’s a Wonderful Life”, and “A Christmas Song” for Sayreville Main Street Theatre; played Key I and Key II in the pits at Perth Amboy High School for “Addams Family”, Little Shop of Horrors, Once on This Island, and 9 to 5; The Addams Family for Rumson-Fair Haven High School; Newsies for Matawan High School; and Hello Dolly! and Anything Goes at Spring Lake Community Theatre.

JUSTIN LUCKENBAUGH is so thankful for this opportunity to perform again after a long 21 months! Justin was last seen at Playhouse 22 as Bazzard in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and since has gotten whole married and celebrated his first anniversary with his incredible wife! Thank you for coming out and for your support of community theater, it means a lot to all involved to have you here tonight.

KIM MESITI is very excited to be back singing on stage and for the first time at Playhouse 22. The last few shows Kim performed in were Sondheim on Sondheim and Bright Star with 4th Wall Theatre and Nancy in Oliver and Showtune with Theater League of Clifton. Kim would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her in the many projects she gets involved in, but especially to Khy Garner; for keeping her in mind from a promise made way back in 2017 when she first had the chance to work with him.

JOE PISERCHIO is grateful to return to the stage with such an amazing group of people! Some past credits include Anytown with George Street Playhouse, Rent at UCPAC, the 39 Steps at Carousel Music Theatre, and Oklahoma! At FDU. ALYCIA SCOTT is excited to be back on stage for the first time in a LONG time, and for the first time at Playhouse 22! Alycia has performed in high school (Into the Woods, Leader of the Pack), college (Festival, Pirates of Penzance) and community theater (Leader of the Pack, again!) productions, and is a member of Treble NYC, NYC’s longest running women’s acapella group. Thank you Mista Khy for the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of singing in a cabaret! Thank you to Alyssa for always believing in me.

ERIC SEBEK has always been surrounded by the Performing Arts with a family of Opera Singers and Broadway performers. His Sophomore year of high school he landed his first professional job playing Patrick in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes. He continued to play Pippin and Jack Kelly in Newsies with Nutley High School. Eric was ready to further his education at Montclair State University to get a BFA in Music Theatre when he booked Radio City’s Spectacular as Patrick a second time. When that was over he finally made it to MSU and has attended there for the past 3 years. At MSU he has played Fleet in Titanic and Cigar in the New Musical: The Names We Gave Him. He is excited to continue his education as well as get out and audition. He is represented by Jason Bercy Talent.

LORI TRAVERS is thrilled to have the chance to be back on stage with such a talented group of performers!  Previous titles include Rumors (Chris), Elf (Jovie), Legally Blonde (Brooke), Rent (Maureen), Godspell (Peggy), The Wedding Singer (Linda).  She would like to thank her entire family and friends for their support in her theatrical endeavors, and the production team for all of their hard work behind the scenes. Additionally, a special thank you to Khy for all of his guidance and for providing us all with such an amazing opportunity to be back in the performance space!
